This is Walter Charleston, one of the two leading protagonists of the comic Best In Me, a longterm slice-of-life-and-romance-tale which is going to start publication Friday, April fifth. He’s genderfluid with a passion for fashion, heels, and cute “women’s” clothes. He’s also a performer in San Diego, far away from his two children, still adjusting to life away from his family, but his music and art keeps him grounded and attracts people to him like a magnet.
Best in Me does deal with many gender and sex related things and will touch on dysphoria, self-discovery, coming out, and living in an unaccepting environment, but focuses more on equality and the importance of self-expression despite what others think when it gets down to serious business. And it has a lot of other elements to it, too! We invite everyone to follow the comic once we begin publication, and the tag and official blog as well.

*This will probably be my favourite panel I’m eve going to end up doing. I know how much this relates to me as being trans, and looking for a future of feeling comfortable in my skin and even being that hunk I always hope I’m going to be. But this is also for everything else. ANYONE who is ever in doubts, just look ahead and keep trying. <3
